The Grandma Peshka Circus
Approved by the Israeli Ministry of Culture
winner of the Rabinovitch Foundation Award 2013
The show premiered in June 2013 at the Israeli Children's Festival
A story that is unforgettable
Of a polish couple that is quite respectable
Who end up in a Zionist spectacle
The endeering, irreverent Aliyah odyssey of Buneck, the first Zionist clown, and Peshka, his beloved accomplice.
A fun-filled comedy for the whole family that combines a variety of circus elements with old-time musical-theater flare. The story takes place in the days when telephones had a receivers, televisions were yet to be invented, and teakettles still whistled.
